When recording, make sure the "make new track follow project tempo" option is unchecked. This will turn your recording into a One-shot, the only ACIDized form of digital audio ACID does not stretch. Are you playing in time with the other tracks? If so, are you directly monitoring the recorded signal? There is often a delay in what you hear and the actual recording. I doubt this would affect the tempo of the recording though. Perhaps you could give more info. What tempo is your project? What tempo is your recording? How many other tracks are in this project? Is the project made up of audio and/or midi tracks? What soundcard are you using? Do you have the latest S/C drivers? Is the recording set to one shot, beatmapped or looped? Are you recording 16bit or 24bit files? 16bit files in a 24bit project may affect the playback speed of the file. Just trying to go through some ideas and hopefully find a solution. |

what kind of soundcard do you have? this could be the source of the lag if your using the card as your input device. To check if your using 24 bit when u start a new project you can select 8 16 or 24 bit. Also try diferet drivers in acid properties. I was having some recording problems and changed the drivers to microsoft soundmapper and cleared up the problem. I also Noticed you mentioned usb as your interface? this might be the cause of the lag. try using the input jack (blue) on your sound card. radio shack sells a step down plug that will fit your guitar/sound card |
