Subject:Media Manager Problem

I suspect I'm not using this right and that is why I'm getting the error message I'm getting. I added all the media files on my computer to the manager, and I can see them in the reference library, but when I try to click on one, an error message pops up telling me the file is not on my computer, is just in the reference library, and if I want to buy it, etc. The thing is the files are on my computer and the file path is displayed in the listing.

So . . . what do I need to do to make this work right?

It sounds like you are working with the reference library. You can turn this on and off with an icon in the upper right. I think it’s he 3rd icon from the left. If you hover your mouse over them, one will say Switch Reference Library. Press that one.

That seems to have been the problem. It was interesting that even though I thought I had loaded all my clips into the manager, I had to load them again. They showed up in the Reference Library, but not the media library. Ran through the add media files routine again, and there they were.

Thanks for the assist.

Jim
