Subject:Soft limiting

When I use 'Graphic Dynamics' (Effects/Dynamics/Graphic) in SF8 to soft limit a file, it always seems to miss a few samples. I have to manually zoom and limit or reduce volume on these spots. I didn't seem to have this problem in SF4.5 (which I still have installed for this reason). Any suggestions. I use soft limiting as a big part of my mastering process.

Check for abnormally long attack times and abnormally short release times.
If used in the chainer, check the "Tail Data" settings.
