Subject:some effects not working

Hey

Some of the effects in acid pro5 dont work for me. I get some message about a missing key or something . dumble key or doodle key or something that's not there . I cant remember the exact message . Is there something else I have to register ?

Which effects is this happening with? If it’s asking for a dongle, it’s not a plug-in from ACID. None of the ACID plug-ins requires a dongle. It must be a DirectX or VST effect that you had installed on your PC prior to installing ACID.

DirectX and VST are both open architectures that allow applications to share plug-ins. You need to figure out which plug-in requires a dongle and either purchase the dongle or uninstall the plug-in. (Waves comes to mind, do you have any Waves FX?) Did you download any trial plug-ins that may have expired?

It’s very strange that you would have a plug-in installed on your PC that requires a dongle and not own the dongle unless it is a trial plug-in that expired.
