Please, install a MIDI Virtual Driver first if you do not have a keyboard. Assign output from Bome to input in Acid and record midi track. Message last edited on8/31/2005 1:50:07 AM bymiquel. |

Should I use the Midi Virtual Router download from Sony? |

Yea, that will work. You could also use MIDI Yoke but that makes several ports available and if you only need one, the Sony virtual drivers is less intrusive. I’ve used both successfully. ~jr |

Thanks Johnny. I still can't get it to work. Can you help with the settings? I'm using the trial of Studio 6 (I currenty have Studio 5). I've installed the MIDI router but am not sure what to do next. I've tried fiddlinf with the MIDI settings in Studio under preferences and the MIDI In / Out in Bome but can't seem to figure it out. Thanks. |

You're welcome, This is probably better shown with pictures rather than words. I’ve added tutorial to my web site on How to Configure Bome's MIDI Keyboard with ACID for you. You have to change the defaults in both Bome and ACID to get it to work. (it’s not obvious which is why I thought the tutorial would help) ~jr |
