irritating interface

hello,
I'm adding a lot of foot step's sound sample, i Take one from the explorer window, drop it in the timeline, want to go forward in the movie, i press "L" key (or F9): nothing happends!!! I must click on the timeline before... not very funny... Any idea?

The problem is that the L-key has a different function when the explorer window is focused. Ctrl+Space is the global keyboard-combo that you can use to advance the playhead on the timeline. Also, if you don't like that keyboard combo, you can always change it in the preferences.
