If you drag the top edge of an event on the timeline down you will reduce the volume of the entire event. If you drag the upper-right corner to the left you will add a fade out. In both cases, when you have the mouse in the correct position you'll see the pointer change. To drag the top down it will turn into a hand with one finger extended. To drag the corner it will change into a quarter-circle with an arrow through it. |

A coupl options: - Add a volume env to the softsynth bus, though that will affect all audio from the softsynth - In the piano roll editor, select the CC volume (#7) and paint in the CC message you want where you want in the data. - In the piano roll, paint/change the velocity of the notes in the section you want to fade out. The lower the velocity, the softer it will play - In the piano roll, pain in a series of Expression points. Expression will also control the volume for MOST MIDI devices/softsynths Peter |
