When using the MiaMIDI's WDM drivers and playing back, it freezes and stutters, especially when using the keyboard's space bar. (It actually alternates. When I go to press the spacebar to play back, it stutters. I press the spacebar to stop. I press the spacebar once more, it plays back fine. I press the spacebar to stop. Press the space bar once more, it stutters, and so on and so forth.) The ASIO drivers are fine. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to find out if it's just me. Subject:RE: 8.0b and WDM drivers; can anyone repro? Reply by: Jamil Date:8/20/2005 1:19:05 PM I can't reproduce this. I played back a 24-bit 96Khz WAV file with Windows Sound Mapper and WIndows Classic Wave drivers. I pressed space to stop and restart playback repeatedly with no issues.

If you have messed with the Advanced settings, make sure Audio buffers = 4 and Buffer size = MME. Any other Sony apps with this problem? J.

That seemed to clear up the problem. I can now use the WDM/PureWave drivers no problem. I'm thinking the drivers got horked for some reason. Sorry about that.
