Hallo everybody, I know that it is not possible to control the recording process from a script. I have read several questions and answers about it. However, I would like to know, if is it planned as some future work. We work on the field of speech technologies, and this functionality would be great help for us. The fact is that we deal with the recording of large speech corpus (several thousand of utterances), and we are thinking about the use of soundforge for this task. However, for the recording purposes we need very simple GUI (in fact as simple as possible), on which recorded utterance will be displayed together with buttons like "start/stop recording", "play", "next utterance" and so on. It is because not technically-edukated speakers record for us, and it is very time consuming to learn them create new file, set recording properties, record, save the file as, etc. Of course, we will create this interface using system GUI. But we still need to control the recording and playback. So, as we think about the buying the soundforge, may we expect such an interface in some of future releases? Thank you very much, for your answers Dan |
