plz help me im having trouble -ACID Product Family

Subject:plz help me im having trouble Posted by: djmathais Date:8/17/2005 11:31:26 AM im trying to make songs and i insert the contents disc so i can make them well when i take the contents disk out and try and insert the loop cd it says it cant find file 4 example "marching ants" is there anywyas i can dl these cd's aand there contents so i can make an actual descent song without having to go back and forth from cd?
Subject:RE: plz help me im having trouble Reply by: Chienworks Date:8/17/2005 1:12:33 PM Copy any files (loops & such) from the CDs to your hard drive before starting a new song. You can then add them to your song from your hard drive.

Subject:RE: plz help me im having trouble Reply by: djmathais Date:8/17/2005 6:22:56 PM ok so this is what i did i copy'd the loops folder and i put on my desktop and i have the the files now but when i go to open upa song... it says cannot find so and so file expample "marching ants" and then it asks if i want to fidn it manully did i need to copy and past that stuff before i made the song? so that means that to make any changes on that song id need to insert the cd again am i correct? im sorry for the trouble its starting to frustrate me

If you move the associated media, that's the dialog you'll get. Once ACID finds the media again, save the project and the next time you open the project, ACID won't ask you for the location. Subject:RE: plz help me im having trouble Reply by: Spy Date:8/19/2005 5:06:51 AM One other tip is to save your projects as Acid zip files, which automatically save all data with the project. These files (necessarily) take up more space on the hard drive but make life easier in the long run. HTH
