Subject:Create Music loop in ACID XMC???

Could someone walk me through this....

I just want to cut out a small section from a ripped music track and convert it into a loop for playback in a DVD menu. ACID XMC does not have the Chopper function of course, so can it be done, and if so, please walk me through it.

Thanks for any help.

Trim the audio on the timeline. Drag the left & right edges of the event in to eliminate the parts you don't want. Render the result to a new .WAV file.

Alternatively, use whatever editing software you've used for the video. Any audio or audio/video editor should be able to handle this task very easily.

The Chopper is really a convenience tool. As Chienworks pointed out, anything you can do in the chopper you can do on the timeline with cut-and-paste.

Thank you both for your reply. After rendering the selection to a WAV file, how do I convert it to a "loop" for insertion into DVD Architect?

Thanks much.

DVD Architect knows nothing about ACID loops. It will simply play whatever wave or AC3 file you give for a menu over, and over, as long as you set the end action in DVD Architect to loop.
