Subject:AP5 and Sampletank 2 XL

Hi, Just installed the V5 demo. My sampletank 2XL VST gets recognised as "Sampletank2 1" I have no idea where the "1" comes from but it means that I cant load any AP4 files I have because they are are all looking for a VST called "Sampletank2". Any advice ? In all my other apps the VST is simply recognised as Sampletank2 Any thoughts ? Regards Paulie |

MD Yes just once "Sampletank2 1" in the name column. I do also have sampletank 1 installed but all my other hosts (including AP4) are Ok with this. Is it a coincidence that this is the naming convention used for Sampletank as a multi output VSTi in the mixer panel Sampletank2 1, Sampletank2 2 etc ? Paulie |

I have found a second copy of sampletank2 installed on my machine. c:\program files\sampletank2\backup\sampletank2.dll. If Acid 5 finds a second instance of the VSTi here would it indeed rename the second instance to Sampletank2 1. My AP5 demo has expired, I wonder if anybody can confirm this for me ? Thanks Paulie |
