Subject:Clicks in Sound

I was asked to simply copy a tape to the computer and make a cd. I recorded using Sound Forge 8. The recordings were about 45 min for each cut. I reviewed the recordings and found some clicking noises toward the end of the first cut. I re-recorded using Sound Forge 6 with no problems? Recording thru a MOTU. Any ideas of thoughts. I will probably just record using SF6.

First, make sure you've updated to 8.0a or 8.0b.

If you already have, try increasing the playback buffering in Options->Prefs->Audio.

It wasn't playback, the clicks were recorded into the wave file. I rerecorded with SF6 and had no problems.
