hi, are there any plans to make the plug in chainer fx preview remain on when you move the playing cursor to another point in the file? to explain, in versions prior to 8, i would click on the play button in the plug in chainer. is i then clicked on the play cursor somewhere else in the file, the preview button would remain and i could hear a preview of the effect. with 8.0, every time i click on another part of the wave file, the plug-in preview is deactivated, meaning i then have to click on the preview again to hear it. i've been using 7.0 because of this, it's really irritating. thanks |

Switch the play mode in the window to "Play Plug-In Chainer" (Hit 'X' or just click on the button in the window's transport). If you only use the preview button in the chainer itself, the main play mode will be used when you seek (and looping is enabled). This is by design, but I will add a request to the database to restore the old behavior. J. |
