Subject:Another 8.0b Bug- NO MP3

After "upgrading" to 8.0b I no longer have the option to save as MP3. Anyone else find that to be true? I think after the ASIO bug and now this that I will go back to 8.0a.

Well I went back to 8.0a and now I have save as MP3 again. There must be some bugs with the install...think I'll stay at 8.0a for awhile.

Have you tried uninstalling 8.0a and then installing 8.0b clean? This seems to have helped most with their installation issues.

I may try that but hesitated because I want to make sure that un-installing doesn't wipe out my tons of saved presets. Does anyone know if saved presets get wipe out when you uninstall SF 8?

I don't remember if presets get whacked after an uninstall/reintsall, but I would recommend using Preset Manager to save them off anyway. I make a habit of doing this fairly often because I save off a plugin-chainer preset for each project I work on.
