I'm running Acid Pro 4 on Windows XP Professional, English version. I've got a project named "Le thé" (in French). When I render to a wave file, the default name in the dialog box becomes "Le thÚ". A problem with unicode ? Can this problem be fixed ? |

I just tried using such a character and I had no problems. Did you try rendering it on another system? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Buy Instant ACID by JohnnyRoy and mD! mD at ACIDplanet |

I'm working with acd-zip files. The name of the main zip is correct but, inside, the acd file has those strange characters. For instance, the main zip is named "Le thé.acd-zip" but, inside the zip, the project file is named "Le thÚ.acd" (drag and drop the acd-zip to a winzip window). I have also noticed that acd-zip files do not open wav elements that have accented characters in their name, because those characters are automatically replaced by other ones when the project is saved. When the project is rendered, the default name comes from the acd file. Message last edited on8/14/2005 11:53:26 PM byDjipy. |

Can anyone try the same on English Win XP, to see if there is a general problem with Acid 4.0f ? Could the technical support confirm this is a bug (Acid 4.0f with Windows XP) or explain how to solve it ? Thanks. |
