I found out on Friday and was greatly saddened by the news. I just saw him in February at the Winter NAMM show and he looked great. I guess this all started in April. Anyway, the link you provided didn’t work. Here is a direct link to the main Bob Moog page. You can get to the guest book from there. ~jr |

We meet Mr.Moog crossing the street on our way to NAMM a few years back. I told Billy, Tony and Ron hey guys that's Bob Moog! He stopped and shook our hands and asked us to stop by and see his new keyboard. He sat and talked to us for almost an hour about music, synths and musicians. He is a VERY nice down to earth guy! That was a cool NAMM! I got to meet and talk to Bob Moog, Steve Vai, Sherman Hemsley and my all time hero Mr. Peter Haller! George Ware |

I actually had Bob show up at a gig I was playing about 20 years ago. The only two keyboards I had at the gig were a PolyMoog and a MiniMoog. I saw this gray haired gentleman walking through the bar and I said to myself, “wow, that guy looks just like Bob Moog”. When the set was over I went over to his table and sure enough it was Bob. We sat and talked for a while. Like you said, he’s one of the most down-to-earth people you can meet. I do hope he gets well soon. He is just a wonderful person. ~jr |
