I cant hear myself in the headphones as im recordin how do i fix that

You need to monitor your recording through hardware. ACID does not do software input monitoring. I use an M-Audio Firewire 410 and it has two headphone outs that allow you to monitor what’s coming into the device. I’m not sure a regular PC sound card will allow you to do this.
