In Vegas i can control drag to stretch audio....how in acid?

Change the tempo of the project using the project tempo BPM. If you just want to change one loop, you could open the properties and lie about how many beats the loop contains. ACID will always keep things on musical boundaries so making things just a little faster or slower is not possible. That’s what Sound Forge is for.
