MP3 Publish AcidPlanet wrong format -Sound Forge - PC

I saved an MP3 version of my song using the 128k Template. When I used the publish interface and choose the alteranate format radio button and browsed for my file, SoundForge says the file is the wrong format. If I use the web based song upload at AcidPlanet.com I can upload the same MP3 with no complaints about the format. Why the discrepency? -CB
