Hello folks,

I just got Acid Pro 3. Pretty good deal. First time into audio recording. I run a Soundblaster Live card. Problem: When I record audio from Synth into Acid it creates a file, when I draw the data there is nothing there. The audio is not actually getting to the track. No wave data. What gives??

What is the source of your audio and is it plugged into the input that you are recording from?

If the “synth” an external hardware synthesizer, you must plug the audio out of the synth into the audio in of the Soundblaster card. If the synth is an internal software synth being generated by the Soundblaster card itself, then you still need to route the audio output of your Soundblaster card back into the audio input, but I think you can do this with the Soundblaster software configuration.
