can you direct me to upgrade/installation procedures - specifically, do I uninstall 3.0 first - do I install in same subfolder as 3.0 (overwrite common files) - do I create different subfolder Are there any other "watchouts" Thanks |

Is your ACID 3 the Studio version as well? If so, simply install the latest ACID 5 Studio download and run it. It will install in it's own folder and copy over all your presets automatically. If your ACID 3 was the pro version then this isn't really an upgrade, since they are two separate products. Once again though i'm sure just installing it with the defaults will be fine, but it may not pick up your presets. You can continue running version 3 after version 5 is installed. The only thing you have to watch out for is that any .acd file saved in version 5 will not open in version 3. It would be a good idea to make backups of your version 3 .acd files before using them in version 5. |
