From the look of your error dump, the issue appears to be related to the .NET Framework.

You might want to perform the following:

1. Uninstall ACID5 completely.
2. Reinstall the .NET Framework 1.1 (and possibly, in your case, its Service Pack).
3. Reboot the machine.
4. Reinstall ACID5.
5. Reboot the machine.

When it comes to (re-)installations such as the above, I'm a fan of rebooting at (what I consider to be) "major breakpoints," even if the OS is Win2k Pro or XP (any version).

Hope this helps.

Mike E. Dee

it asnt change anything!
So i repeat my probleme

-When i instal AcidPro5 everytings is fine
-
When i want to start acidpro5 (of course i double click on the icone)(i am french so i try to be explicite) then a error window open and say "the auto tag pattern collection file
c:\documents and settings\combo\mes documents\sony media librairies\Auto TagPatterns.xml
could not read succesfully and will not be read"

-Then i click OK

-A new error window open and say:
" an error occured initializing the Media Manager. The feature will be unavailable. Media Manager Inisialization failed.

-THEN ACID TRY TO START AND TRY TO SCAN MY VST PLUGS ext...

-Then the programme doesnt start

So i did try many instaling but it didnt work!
I got another computors (a shity one) and it works (normal windows XP)
I dont want to reinstal windowsXPpro ! what can i do
(ps: i got many VST plugs i will uninstall all o them but i dont think that will change anything)
