When I browse through my all my Sony editing programs (Sound Forge, Vegas, Acid) all of my Wav, Mp3, & audio files are not accociated with the icon I assigned to it in Folder Options>File Types in Windows XP. I currently have Sound Forge set as the program to open these files. (Any they "will" open these files, however they don't have an icon even associated with the extension.)

I can have them show up as WinAmp icons but if I set it back to the default WinAmp player but I don't want WinAmp to open the files.

Any suggestions? I've played around with this in the folder options and file types in Windows XP>Folder Options>File Types. Even after a reboot, all the audio files on my computer don't have any icon associated with it, just that ugly looking unassigned default icon. :(

There is an [Advanced] button that you can click instead of the [Change] button. This will let you specify more details, including which icon to show. You can browse to the folder that Sound Forge is installed in and use forge.exe as the source of the icon.
