I've just clicked on Get Media to see if the new goodies for June are up yet and all I'm getting is an error message - Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: '[string: "unknown"]' /global/functions.asp, line 159 Is it just me or is this happening for everyone? Mark |

I just posted the content for June, so please check back. MarkWWW, I've noticed some errors coming in from the Get Media page in the last 10 minutes, so I assume there are coming from your attempts to reach the page. I'll look into them, and get back to you. |

Thanks very much, that's great. In case it is any help, I'm now getting the same error message: (Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: '[string: "unknown"]' /global/functions.asp, line 159 on all pages on the www.acidplanet.com site. I'm pretty sure it was working fine yesterday, but today I'm just getting the error. I've tried from both my PCs and I get the same error from each machine. Most odd. Mark |

I see. Thanks for the additional feedback. I think we've determined the source of the problem, and are taking our first swipe at fixing it. It's a bit curious that this issue is not affecting a good deal of the folks visiting ACIDplanet. Have you, by any chance, installed Netscape 8? Just curious. Thanks. |

I think you've fixed it now, for me at least - I've just tried again and I can now get to both the www.acidplanet.com site (in IE6) and also get to the GetMedia content from within Acid. In answer to your question, no I don't have Netscape8, but I have recently installed Firefox which I guess has some elements in common with Netscape. But I only have Firefox on one of my machines and I was seeing the problem on both of my PCs, both the one with Firefox (as well as IE6) and also the one with no Firefox, only IE6, so I don't think this can be the expanation in my case. Many thanks for sorting it out so quickly - I'm currently downloading the June content. Mark |
