Registration Difficulties

Michael L wrote on 5/14/2005, 12:06 PM
Finally installed DVD3 and Vegas 6. Now I am trying to register and the servers seem to be down. Tried directly from the site and that method indicates I am trying toreach a page that doesn't exist.

Any ideas out there or do I need to just wait.

Vegas I can play with but DVDA needs to be registered before it works.

Thanks in Advance

Similar problem - says email address incorrect (although it's not and I've checked the registration request written). Maybe I should say that I'm registering from another computer, so my editing machine has generated a registration file for transmission by email -- you know the routine.

This seems to be a frequently asked question, but one not answered. Any solutions?

Thanks.

Sounds crazy but this works. we had to get codes for three copies of SF8 , V6b and DVD-A 3. When you are told your email address is invalid click reset form(?) the right hand button and you will get a screen showing your serial number and a box where you enter your Computer ID. I think (one of my guys did this, not me) you are then asked to enter your email address and submit form. Your activation codes will arrive via email in afew minutes. The other option is just phone them at 800-577-6642. In our case we had to phone to get new activation codes for the Main Concept plug ins and the AC3 encoder for V5. Not sure why because, again, I didn't do the install myself but everything is up and running and everyone is happy.
