Subject:Synthesizer problem Posted by: brokenchord Date:5/25/2005 7:24:12 AM I used Acid Pro 5 and recorded a Midi sequence from my Casio keyboard. I outputed all channels which incuded accompaniments harmony to Acid Pro. Acid Pro recorded everything correctly. I then use a VST synthesizer such as Native Instruments F7 or Sony DLS synthesizer to play the midi again. I selected a non-default preset instrument in the synthesizer, and when I press the play button Acid Pro keeps on reverting back to a default preset instrument. I tried different synthesizer, and they all do that. I don't want Acid Pro to play the default sound, I just want to select a non-default preset sound from my Midi. Please help, because I have tried everything. Thanks.
Subject:RE: Synthesizer problem Reply by: JohnnyRoy Date:5/25/2005 2:03:54 PM Did you check the MIDI data that you recorded to see it if includes Patch Change commands? This might explain why it keeps changing back to the original preset. ~jr
