I am now using a laptop AND a desktop to work on various projects and the issue is that i am getting a terrible buzz! I am hoping that somene might have a solution. I have an MAudio 2496 on the desk and an Audiophile 2496 USB on the laptop and both of these are going into a Yamaha MG10/2. Whenever I disconnect either card from the console and leave only one plugged in, the buzz goes away. I also can hear "mouse noise" from my laptop through my USB 2496. I mean that everytime I use the onboard mouse, I can hear crackling. I am not sure if this is some kind of sync or IRQ issue,but I am mostly hoping that somebody might havea clue as to what I could do. Thanks,luces

Reply by: luces1 Date:5/23/2005 10:16:42 PM Oops, sorry,but I must have overlooked this issue on the M Audio site, but apparently if you are using an M Audio mobile device,it must be plugged into the same socket or power strip that the laptop is in.
