At each startup of Sound Forge 6.0e it scans for plugins, takes about 60 seconds. Then Sound Forge starts fine. Is there anyway to stop t scanning everytime it starts up? Thanks. smc.accounts@earthlink.net |

Try the re-install/repair function in SF. Start> Settings> Control panel> Add/remove Programs. (If you still have the set-up files in Sonic Foundry\Setup.-- or Sony) and/or Download the DX uninstaller from Active-X (I think) and remove any plug-ins you have previously uninstalled, there may be some orphaned registry entries left behind. |

It should rescan every time a change is made to installed DX plugs, but not if no changes have been made. Try a clean re-install as suggested. |
