Is it possable to make the project time counter count backwards?
I produce a radio mixshow and the studio system counts backwards , and I need to be able to know where to mark my talk breaks.

I know you can set an offset by using View > Time Ruler > Set Time at Cursor. However, you'd only be able to do this on a project-by-project basis.

That is brilliant! Set the time at the cursor to -01:00:00 and the time counter will count down to zero. I would have never though of that. I stand corrected. Yes you can make the project time counter count backwards.
