Subject:Record to Virtual Drive?

I rarely need to end up with a physical CD of my work--so my question is: Do any of the Sony Media Software titles allow you to "burn" to a virtual CD drive? Or has anyone figured out a way around this? This ability would also cut down on those CD coasters that are made that were never in fashion.....

I've never had much problem with ACID making coasters. It always seems to work well for me.

You could render the project to a WAV file, including markers if you wish. Then use your favorite CD burning software to burn the CD from that file. Most will read the markers and create tracks from them.

In addition to what Chienworks suggested, try burning at a much lower rate if you haven't tried that already. (Around 2x should do it.) Some burners just don't like burning at warp speed even though they're rated to do so.
