Subject:AcidPro5 functionality issues

Just discovered a curious glitch.
Had a project from Pro4 and attempted to open in 5.
System hung up. Rebooted, went to 4 and steamlined it, removing the soft synths, saved, and opened it in 5. No problem. Reinserted the soft synths: Crystal and Sampletank Free. Pro 5 created 4 instances of Sampletank. Very odd. Tried deleting one instance apparently not in use by the midi track, and all 4 were removed.
Anyone have this problem with other VSTplugins?

Found it happening with Reactor Session One as well.
4 instances when only one is called for.
Other soft synths are behaving normally.

Should mention that these are 96/24 projects

More freaky stuff:
Was able to modify some older projects to open.
Worked them for some time, saved as Acid5 projects.
When I came back to them, tried to open them, they hang at 11-13% load. Had to forcibly shut Acid down and reboot.

After several attempts with a couple of projects,
frustration pushed me to uninstall 5 and reinstall.
Will update as soon as I retest.
