Just discovered a curious glitch. Had a project from Pro4 and attempted to open in 5. System hung up. Rebooted, went to 4 and steamlined it, removing the soft synths, saved, and opened it in 5. No problem. Reinserted the soft synths: Crystal and Sampletank Free. Pro 5 created 4 instances of Sampletank. Very odd. Tried deleting one instance apparently not in use by the midi track, and all 4 were removed. Anyone have this problem with other VSTplugins? Message last edited on5/10/2005 7:02:01 AM bymrXavier. |

Found it happening with Reactor Session One as well. 4 instances when only one is called for. Other soft synths are behaving normally. Should mention that these are 96/24 projects Message last edited on5/8/2005 1:48:15 PM bymrXavier. |

More freaky stuff: Was able to modify some older projects to open. Worked them for some time, saved as Acid5 projects. When I came back to them, tried to open them, they hang at 11-13% load. Had to forcibly shut Acid down and reboot. After several attempts with a couple of projects, frustration pushed me to uninstall 5 and reinstall. Will update as soon as I retest. |
