Subject:Wind noise

I filmed outdoors on a windy day and got a lot of wind noise. I have used vinyl restoration with god effect on recordings. Can vinyl be tweaked to filter wind noise? Or is there another filter or technique to eliminate or reduce wind noise?

A hi-pass (aka, low-cut) EQ filter can help some times. However if it caused severe distortion there's not much that can be done.
Try reducing frequencies below 100 or 150Hz on an EQ process or plugin.
