Subject:volume setting suggestion Posted by: amikula Date:5/3/2005 4:10:18 PM After working all day on a couple of projects today I would love to see the ability to enter in a volume setting via the keyboard. For instance, on a track I would like to be able to double-click on the volume slider and be able to enter in my volume via the keyboard without having to fine tune it via the mouse. On one project I was working on I knew the db for certain tracks I wanted but using the mouse took too long to get it set right. It would be nice if the master volume and the various buses would work this way also, but the track setting is what I really would like to see.

So, for example, if you need –6.5db just use the mouse to get it somewhere around –6db and use the arrows to move it in 0.1db increments to the exact position you need it. Don’t forget that you can select multiple tracks and move all of their sliders at the same time (ganged together). ~jr
