So..I have a few tracks up..yesterday, it was 6. 2 of which were Stylus RMX things. I noticed that when I hit the solo and or mute buttons on any of the tracks, it took a bit for it to "register". a lag..then a screen redraw, including the Stylus RMX plugin.

I am doing this on a laptop..a CompaqR3000 with an amd 64 processor.."only" 1.25 gb of Ram. There's nothing wrong with the audio.. I think it just may be the video card, an nvidia ..so-question for acid gurus- is the video card a crucial thing with acid these days? (I last used the program at the Pro3 stage..with a whopping 32mb of RAM, which at the time cost more than the current 1.25 gb..) is there some reason why there's a lag like this? Something I can turn off/on in the background? I did the xp daw tuning stuff already, didn't make a bit of difference.

Did you try lowering or turning off video acceleration? Definitely sounds like a video problem. (Try also looking for newer drivers if any are available for your make and model.)
