Greetings from a noob I am having some issues with cutting tracks to create new loops. When I select and loop the section in the chopper window it sounds fine, but when I export it to a new file then import that back into the track as a loop there is a slight hiccup in between loops. I suppose I could just start cutting the sections a little shorter to compensate but it's frustrating. If someone could explain what the problem could be and how it could be solved I would be most grateful. Cheers |

What kind of media file are you saving as? Do not save as MP3 as there's an inherent bit of silence added at the beginning and end of the file, which isn't good for looping at all. If you're worried about file size, try Sony's proprietary Perfect Clarity Audio format, which is a lossless-but-compressed format. However, note that only Sony's apps (such as Sound Forge and Vegas) can only work with PCA files. When you create new loops from the Chopper, you're using the "chop to new track" feature, correct? (CTRL+M is the shortcut.) Just want to make sure you're not making it more difficult than it needs to be. :o) Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Buy Instant ACID by JohnnyRoy and mD! mD at ACIDplanet |

That will be the one. I thought I would save on disk space because I wasn't bothered about compression. Thaks Iacobus. |
