I'm trying to compile a set of mp3s, and SF has just stopped saving them... So I check the 'custom' dialog box and it tells me that I've reached the encode limit!! When I click on the 'Register...' button **NOTHING HAPPENS** What?!?!??! I have been using this software for this purpose for years now - why decide to expire *now*. I know, deadlines. Any help would be appreciated - I've just done an uninstall/reinstall, that didn't help... I've just found out that I can't even OPEN mp3 files any more >:-( Message last edited on4/25/2005 2:15:09 PM byjtuffen. |

Ok, so by deleting the following registry key I was able to get the 'register' button to actually do something (i.e. register the mp3 plugin). Not sure what side effects I might have, but I can at least open/save mp3s in SoundForge now... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Media Software\MP3 Plug-In Maybe this'll help someone in the future? |
