ACID 5.0a locks-up when I try to insert Cakewalk FX2 Tape SIm plug-in on a bus.

Can anyone confirm?

It works for me. I’m using the Cakewalk plugs that come with SONAR 4 and I just inserted the Cakewalk FX2 Tape Sim plug-in on a bus and it played just fine. I’m using ACID 5.0a (Build 310).

Well crud.

That's what I'm using (same ACIDbuild, SONAR4 PE) and I just re-installed SONAR and the SONAR plug-ins.

What else should I try, I wonder?

Maybe that Sonar's plugin are locked up with Sonar's host only.

No - the SONAR plugs can be used in any host.

I just tried to insert the FX2 Tape Sim plug-in on my laptop. The same thing happened - ACID locked-up as soon as I hit 'OK'.

Maybe there's something going on with the project file.
