I'm getting a similar error when prepping a DVD, only I'm getting "The cause of the error could not be determined." Not very helpful (or professional, for that matter; more detail is needed).

I hate to say this, but Sony's releases of late have done much to unravel the reputation for quality that Sonic Foundry worked so hard to achieve. First, it was Sound Forge 8.0, now it's Vegas 6.0 and DVD Architect 3.0. I can live with most of the issues in SF8 and V6 (they involve esoteric features that I stand little chance of using), but this one with DVDA3 is a show-stopper. Luckily, I left DVDA2 installed, and I'll be going back to that until I hear some encouraging words about fixes.

Is the disk that your temporary files fiolder is on out of space? Options/Preferences... click the "burning" tab and see what drive you have specified for your temp files.
