When I open up a file to edit from Acid 5 I see the following right at the top: Sony Sound Forge 8.0 - [Seeds of Death] What is the meaning of the Square brackets? At first I thought it was indicating the folder the track is in, but it isn't. It' not the name of the track either. Is it workspace name or something? I did once have an Acid Project called Seeds of Death but I'm not working on it at the moment. Finding what ever is going on confusing. Thanks, Chris (Hunt) |

It's whatever the "Title" summary field is set to in the file (File->Properties->Summary). If the title isn't present, the filename is used. It may be that you at some point set it as the default (in the Extended summary page), then saved this file with it. J. |

Thanks for the reply. I can't remember doing that - but it doesn't mean I didn't! Cheers, Chris |
