60i-24p (Vegas 6)

So, I'm looking to upgrade in the next few days/weeks, and was wondering - have any of you with Vegas 6 tested 60i - 24p yet?

On the product page it says

"Superior frame rate conversion including 24p..."

So I'm wondering if that means they've improved the 60i to 24p resampling. I hope so, cause I'm getting tired of exporting 60i footage to DVFilm Maker and then re-importing a QuickTime file that requires re-rendering, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love DVFilm Maker, it has the best 60i to 24p process ever, but it would be nice if we could get a good solution within one platform.

Maybe the Vegas team should contact DVFilm and work out a deal for a DVFilm plugin...

Perhaps the new abilities in Vegas 6 are as good as you're used to from DVFilm?

I have no idea, but you never know. Kinda pointing out that your post is really a question, disguised as a statement. :)

Oops, sorry. I didn't mean to be deceitful or anything. Should have put a question mark up there.

I'm hoping 6 can be as good as DVFilm Maker. One less hassle to deal with.
