Problems following Vegas 6 download

Anyone else have this problem? After downloading Vegas 6.0 , DivX9 and Sony Media Mgr., SQL and other software as recommended, and restarting, some kind of "blockage" ensued, not able to get back on line. Even after deleting all those programs, had the same problem. Finally solved by restoring computer to earlier yesterday.

Yes,
after installing 6 iE want s know if I wish to connect to the internet. I am on a t2 so I am connected. Also Vegas 6 get larger and larger if left idle. 200 megs at one point, I suspect the media manager is trying to do some chores that I don't want at all.
Attn: Sony I have a folder for pan shots within each project,and one for short media, etc. alsoone drive devoted to sound fx, another 7500 devoted to video capture. Give us something we can use, you are underestimating your audiance, again.
