I've never been much of a MIDI user, but now I need it for a client. So it's only now I've discovered the following problem in Acid5: When I create a MIDI track and several tracks in this midi track that I route to different channels (of the DLS Soft Synth), all channels are reset to 1 when I save the midi file. I need the different channel numbers saved with the midi file - what can I do? Btw, it doesn't matter if I create the different tracks in the MIDI track by clicking notes in the piano roll or merging different MIDI tracks into one using StolenTrack. (Thanks once again, JohnnyRoy.) - Acid will always reset the Track Names to "New Track" and the channel number to 1. Thanks in advance, Zerobae ZEROBAE.com - Enchanting Electronic Music Message last edited on4/18/2005 2:19:16 PM byzerobae. |

zerobae, I cannot reproduce the resetting of track names. It is working for me. As for the channel numbers, that would be a bug. Thank you for pointing it out. I have added it to our bug list. thanks, Jenn |
