Vegas 6 and the Sony Film Effect not working!?!

Hi All,

Just upgraded to V6 from V5 and loaded my current project, only to find that the Sony Film Effect FX doesn't appear to be working now.

I have the particles enabled and they appear on the video footage and in the preview window, but they no longer animate and just remain frozen. Even when I render the file they don't move.

Other FX such as Film Grain animate fine.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or could try it out on their version to see if it's just something wrong here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Its very odd. Even if I add a keyframe and change the parameters between them it still remains static.

Hmm. I wonder if Sony have mistakenly released a pre-release version or something. I can't believe they'd release it with a problem such as this (or without the XDCAM support Spot specifically mentioned!)

Can you list the version number of the plug in? It can be found via the About button on the Film Effects plug in page.

We are not able to repro the issue of the Film Effect not working.
