I want to contact Customer Service with a query regarding the purchase of Sound Forge 8. Every time I try to 'Submit Question to Customer Service' at http://www.custcenter.com/cgi-bin/sonypictures.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php, I am prompted to set up a new account.

I have no problem logging in to http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/myaccount/default.asp but the Support section rejects the same e-mail address and password ('The login ID and password combination you provided is invalid'). I've tried two different browsers and first attempted to submit the query on 4th April (I had actually hoped the post had been successful until I didn't receive a reply).

Is there any other way of contacting Customer Service (other than by phone - not an attractive option from the UK)? I would be less than happy if I missed out on the special offer expiring tomorrow.

Hello,

I checked the email address you use on the forum, and there is no support account set up with that address. Note that right now our My Account and the support website accounts are unfortunately not linked together. We will have that fixed in the future, but right now you would have a different account for each page (even though they may both use the same login information). So just go ahead and register for the support website using whichever email address you want, and it should create a new account for you and allow you to submit a question.

If you are still having problems post again here and I will follow up with you.

Brian

That explains it. I've now registered at the support site and successfully submitted the query.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply.
