Subject:Acid 5.0a crashing on solo/unsolo

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I actually have 5.0a running on a test machine (not the one listed in my specs) which is a 1.2ghz Intel Pentium 3 running XP with 512mb RAM.

I've sucessfully run many an Acid 4 and 3 session on this machine with little or no problems. Before I upgrade my larger machine, and purchase liscenses for my machines at work (Infinity Broadcasting in San Francisco at KLLC-FM) I need to clear all the bugs, which seems to be a tall order for the new version!

thanks..

No, I can't say that I have ever encountered ACID 5 or 5a crashing when soloing/unsoloing individual tracks, folder tracks, or even buses for that matter and I've been using ACID Pro 5 almost daily since it was first released 5 months ago. I tend to use the solo and mute buttons often as I build my projects. Some of which can have more than 50 tracks and ten or more buses.

I am using a PIII 1Ghz/512MB DAW with XP SP1, btw. I also routinely use my UAD-1 plugins ( 2 UAD-1 DSP cards), in my ACID Pro 5 projects, without any problems or issues. Which was NOT always the case, with previous ACID versions, I'm afraid. FWIW, for my way of working, I have found ACID Pro 5a to be quite stable and relatively bug free.

Does this crashing on solo/unsolo happen everytime, in every project? If it's reproducible maybe you can send a project (sans media) that exhibits this behavior, along with the exact details (including crash report) to ACID support so they can take a closer look at it?
