Subject:REWIRE with ACID 5 not available?

Hi,
I have followed the instructions to go to >INSERT and then to > SOFT SYNTH.
But instead of a panel opening with a REWIRE tab I always get the DLS SOFT SYNTH pane (the one with all the standard MIDI sounds) down in the lower right corner where the mixer and video are.
I am really confused. And nowhere in the help menu is there anything written about REWIRE.

I want to use REWIRE with REASON 3.

Did you go to Options > Preferences and then click the ReWire Devices tab?

Same thing happens to me regularly. I have to close and re-open ACID a random number of times before it will insert the Reason Rewire channel properly. Kind of annoying. No, really annoying.

Funny... I read this post last night while Re-Wiring Reason3 & Acid5 and thought... 'It sucks they are having these problems. Mine works like a charm.'

This morning I tried to open the same project w/Reason rewired and:

- An error occurred while loading the project file blahblahblah.acd.

An error occurred when loading an audio plug-in or plug-ins. The audio plug-in(s) specified are not installed on this system.

The Soft Synth plug-in "Reason" was not found or did not load properly.

I was just using it last night. I can also open and play Reason3 as a stand alone.
Yes, it is selected under my ReWire Devices Tab. I tried deleting and re-adding it as a synth but it never comes to life.

Is this what you guys are experiencing? Any suggestions?
