section selection problem in SF8 -Sound Forge - PC

In SF5, if I had the cursor at 1:00 and had a marker at 2:00, I could hit Cntl - Shift - Right Arrow and highlight the file from 1:00 to 2:00. When I do this in SF8, it selects an area from the cursor to the left, rather than to the right (from the cursor to the marker). Is this a bug in SF8, or is there another way that I should do this now? Cntl - Shift - Left Arrow works as expected. The problem only happens when i do Cntl - Shift - Right Arrow. Any suggestions?
