Subject:24 bit to 16 bit

Question: If I buy SF8, can i master my own demo songs at home? Here is the issue: I record all my songs on Protools 24/96 at a real studio. At home I only have 16bit Cakewalk Home studio. Also does Audio Studio have compression for mastering? thanks alot.
